Part documentary and part fiction, this film collages animation actual early polar film and archival images to imagine the moment when a polar explorer's curiosity collides with the disappointing reality of his endeavor. I have not told what might be the one true story about the adventure but rather brought it to you as a felt experience—a hybrid accumulation of remembered and imagined fragments occurring simultaneously.
